Ann Liv Young's Cinderella, coming to ISSUE on September 3 & 4, is inspired by versions as disparate as Disney's and the macabre Grimm brothers'. This one-woman show (starring Young's alter-ego Sherry) seeks to please no one, critiquing the male authorship of one-dimensional female fairy tale characters.

Thanks to everyone who applied for ISSUE's Emerging Artist Commission Program! We received an overwhelming number of applications and were extremely impressed with the range and the quality of the work.
