Either/Or returns to Issue Project Room with another “early music” concert, presenting Morton Feldman’s “Why Patterns?” (1977). E/O directors Richard Carrick and David Shively are joined by flutist Jane Rigler for the performance.
Ann Liv Young's Cinderella, coming to ISSUE on September 3 & 4, is inspired by versions as disparate as Disney's and the macabre Grimm brothers'. This one-woman show (starring Young's alter-ego Sherry) seeks to please no one, critiquing the male authorship of one-dimensional female fairy tale characters.

We received an overwhelming number of applications and were extremely impressed with the range and the quality of the work. We are proud to announce the following 8 recipients of the commissions for 2010: Doron Sadja, Michael and Dawn Haleta, Michelle Nagai, Laura Vitale, Enda Bates, Ben Vida, Natacha Diels and Alex Chechile.
